The journey from Kathmandu to Machha Khola is the crucial part of Manaslu Base Camp trek. Machha Khola is the starting point of the journey and reaching there requires a combination of both travel and walking. The jouney is complete in two parts.
Trekking to jagat is the part of Manaslu Base Camp trekking and it is the most popular part. Jagat is the village which is loacted along the trails and serves that is the early stops of the trek.
After starting a trek in Jagat you will continue the journey along with Budi Gandaki River.You will likely to cross suspension bridges that will provide you a stunning view of surroundings and landscapes.
The distance from Jagat to Deng is approximately 17-20 kilometers (10-12 miles), and it usually takes around 6-8 hours of trekking.
Be prepared for a mix of terrain, including rocky paths, stone steps, and potentially muddy sections. Weather conditions can change quickly in the mountains, so it's important to have suitable clothing and gear.
The trek continuous from the Deng by exploring the deeper region on Manaslu. Trek to Namrung will provide you the beautiful views of mountains and surroundings and landscapes.
The distance from Deng to Namrung is roughly 15-18 kilometers (9-11 miles), and it typically takes around 6-8 hours to complete this section, depending on factors like your pace, trail conditions, and the time you spend exploring along the way.
Trekking to Sama Gaun, also known as Samagaun, is another significant part of the Manaslu Circuit Trek in Nepal. Sama Gaun is a village located at a higher elevation in the Manaslu region, and it's a popular stop on the trek known for its breathtaking mountain views and unique cultural experiences.

Trekking to Bimtang via the Larkya La Pass is one of the most challenging and rewarding segments of the Manaslu Circuit Trek. The Larkya La Pass is the highest point of the trek, and Bimtang is a picturesque village located on the other side of the pass.
